More Shelter Dogs Helped by Peanut Butter
Heartstrings tugging time — Casey Elise, an LA based photographer, shoots (as yet) unadopted senior shelter dogs (and some cats too, but don’t hold that against her) enjoying peanut butter to make them more appealing. According to her, potential adopters then “come into the shelter seeking that specific animal because he or she looks silly and fun”.
So What Peanut Butter Snacks Does Mollie Eat?
Today’s Mollie-Certified Recommendation:
We all remember Old Mother Hubbard, right? Cupboard was bare? No bones? The poor dog had none? Apparently she didn’t take that empty cupboard lying down — not a bit. Nowadays she runs the Old Mother Hubbard Baking Company and her nutritious, all-natural dog treats are among Mollie’s favorites. They come in a variety of flavors but the — wait for it — peanut butter ones are her first choice. She’s a 35 lb cattle-dog so the small sized P-Nuttier Crunchy Treats are perfect for her. She’s also quite fond of their Peanut Butter and Carob Soft Bakes — which would be perfect for older dogs or any dogs that have trouble chewing harder foods. Some Shelter Dogs eating Peanut Butter
Every post can’t be all about Mollie, right? This site is called Dogs Eating Peanut Butter after all — not Mollie eating peanut butter. Although….maybe…nah. Here’s a fab slo-mo video from the Northeast Animal Shelter in Salem, MA. These are some awesomely cute peanut butter loving canines, too!
Hurray for Lost Dogs (and lunch)!
Had a great lunch the other day at one of the local Lost Dog Cafes. A portion (get it?) of every meal’s price goes to help the Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation. Stop in soon for something to eat (or a beer) and to do some good!
First Dog Eating Peanut Butter? Mollie of Course!
She’s the Dogs Eating Peanut Butter resident expert and site inspiration so the first post has to go to Mollie!
